For the Urban Justice Center's annual Night Out fundraiser, I was tasked with a rebrand: transitioning a networking event for young lawyers into a miniature music festival for New Yorkers with a passion for social justice. The new logo & branding needed to reflect a celebration of summer, the organization’s sophistication, and a collaboration between many artists. I developed a logo, color scheme, photo treatment, and a series of print and digital collateral for the event over the span of three years.

Less than 24 hours before the event, we learned that our headliner, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, lost his battle with sickle cell anemia. To maintain the integrity of his intended performance for the event as well as memorialize his memory, I decided to keep the initial lineup of artists on the front cover and add a heart to his name in UJC red.
